Here are answers to some of the questions that have been asked about the program:
1. How much does the program cost?
The first year costs $600, including the 32 weeks of class and the Spiritual Exercises. The week long June session is $400.
The cost for the second year is $400 for the first and second semesters. The second week long session is $400.
2. I don’t have a spiritual director, who can write my second letter?
You could ask a prayer group leader, a member of a faith sharing group you participate in, someone you serve in ministry with, or just a close friend who knows your spiritual journey.
3. What kind of certification will I receive at the end?
Those who successfully complete the entire program will receive a certificate of Completion from the Heart of Christ Spiritual Direction Program.
4. How big are the classes?
Classes tend to be small but there is not a specific limit on size. Each class has included 10-15 participants. This number may vary in the future. The June sessions will include both the first and second year participants. So they will naturally be larger.
5. Should I wait for my letters of recommendation before sending in my application?
No. You can send in the application and have the letters follow either by mail or by email to info@heartofchristspiritualdirection.com.
