About HOC

Heart of Christ is a Spiritual Direction Training Program recently developed in response to a felt need for more trained spiritual directors in the Ann Arbor area.  The program was established by Jeannette Barbacane and Tesa Fleming, trained spiritual directors who are members of Christ the King parish in Ann Arbor.  They are also members of St John of the Cross Secular Carmelite Fraternity.  Trained in Ignatian methods of spiritual direction, they bring both Ignatian and Carmelite spirituality into the curriculum.
