I will be staying at the Hampton Inn. Since I will be driving to Michigan, I will have room for 3 people in my car…maybe 4 if we squeeze in to shuttle between hotels and our meetings.

I am guessing that I will arrive around 4pm on Sunday, but that is flexible.

Just curious.. Is anyone going to stay at the Red Roof Inn Plus? I know it’s one of the cheaper hotels, but it still looks pretty nice.

I mentioned in our class tonight that I’m hoping to find someone to share a room. Any hotel works for me.

I’m trying to figure out where people are staying so that I can make a decision for my own lodging. Here is what I have gleaned from this post. Let me know if this is correct. If you aren’t on the list, where are you planning to stay? I will be driving and happy to bring people from the hotel to the meeting each day, if needed. Here’s where I think people are staying:
Red Roof Inn: Kristina
Doubletree: Nalina, Heather, Laura D, Brigette
Hampton: Laura B
Residence: Gerri, Mary, Sharon

Yes, I’m staying at the Residence Inn. Due to flights to/from the West Coast, In arriving Sunday night and leaving early Saturday morning.
I’ll have a car and am happy to give lifts, too.

We (hubby is actually traveling with me) haven’t actually finalized where we are staying yet. Hubs just wanted me to find out if anyone is staying at Red Roof, as it looks nice to him. But he’d like me to be able to stay where others are staying as well so if we decide to “hang out” a little in the evenings I have the option.

Greetings All,

I will be coming into the Detroit airport on Sunday the 13th at 4:18 pm on American Airlines, and I think Nalina will be slightly before that. We are planning to take taxis to the hotel. If you are getting there around the same time and you want to share a ride, let us know.

I see that the Double Tree is about a 30 min. walk to the Church. I might take advantage of this a few times if walkways and the weather permit. Otherwise, I (and Nalina) would love to catch rides with anyone who has an opening, or we can also call a Taxi.
