Prayers for the path ahead all!

A wise Deacon sent this to me recently and in preparing for our upcoming gathering I could not help but smile and think about how powerfully it pertained to what we are to embark upon very soon.
A Daily Prayerful Walk with God listening to the Spirit of Our Souls!

1 Cor 2:10b-13

I included 9 here below too! I think you could read all of this Chapter and really see the power of the Holy Spirit and that interior work that must be done to help reveal the whisper of the Lord!

Anyway….just thought I would share with all of you!

“But as it is written:

“What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard,

and what has not entered the human heart,

what God has prepared for those who love him,”e

f this God has revealed to us through the Spirit.

For the Spirit scrutinizes everything, even the depths of God.

Among human beings, who knows what pertains to a person except the spirit of the person that is within? Similarly, no one knows what pertains to God except the Spirit of God.

We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things freely given us by God.

And we speak about them not with words taught by human wisdom, but with words taught by the Spirit, describing spiritual realities in spiritual terms.*

How important hearing the Holy Spirit is in our work! I too am praying for the workings of the Holy Spirit for us all. This is my daily rosary prayer for our group.
“For our 2021-2022 Cohort of Spiritual Direction students. May the Holy Spirit descend upon us and stay with us, open our ears to hear the spirit and open our eyes to see the workings of God in our lives and in those we will direct.”
